Angus Fine Art is a commercial gallery on Kirriemuir's High Street, trading since 1986, with a small tea room attached. It shows and sells original paintings, prints and framed work, much of it by Scottish artists, and also offers picture framing. The tea room gives visitors a reason to linger over the hung work, pairing coffee and baking with the display. It is a long-standing, independently owned single site rather than a public collection or council venue, which keeps its programme commercial and its stock for sale. Opening is generally afternoons across the week, so it is worth checking hours before travelling. Sitting a short walk from the J. M. Barrie birthplace, it fits into a wander around the town's shops and literary connections. There is no dedicated website beyond its social-media pages.
