Belhaven Bikes

Belhaven Bikes has traded from the former Rigg service station on Belhaven Road since 2005, making it Dunbar's long-standing independent cycle shop. Alongside sales of road, hybrid, mountain and electric bikes, it runs a Cytech-accredited repair workshop and a year-round hire fleet that includes adult, children's and e-bikes. Each rental is packaged with a pannier, pump, spare tube, tyre levers, lock and multi-tool, plus an East Lothian Spokes map and a John Muir Way map covering the coast-to-coast route that begins in Dunbar, John Muir's birthplace. The business was a finalist in the 2015 Best Small Shops competition and also stocks skateboards, stunt scooters, parts and accessories. It supports the Cycle to Work scheme and is approved by the Association of Cycle Traders, with repairs and servicing handled in-house by its own mechanics.
