Coastline Brewery

Coastline Brewery works from a converted barn at Far South End Cottage on the south end of Walney Island, off Barrow-in-Furness. The business, incorporated in 2021 and run as a family concern by an uncle and nephew, began brewing on a 2.5-barrel brewhouse bought from a local brewery in 2023. Beer is made in small batches, and the range currently runs to five regular beers alongside a line of spiced rum, including a dark spiced rum made from five-year-aged Jamaican gold rum and finished on the island. Orders are taken through the brewery's own online shop, with free local delivery to the LA13 and LA14 postcodes and wider shipping across the country. Coastline describes itself as a wholly independent operation, with no tie to any pub company or larger drinks group.
