Feather Bed Cottage occupies a cottage building dating from the 1800s on Westwood Heath Road, extended and refurbished rather than replaced, and run as a bed and breakfast by hosts David and Lynsey. Rooms are modern inside the older shell, aimed at both leisure guests and business travellers passing through the area rather than long-stay visitors. Breakfast is served on site each morning as part of the room rate. It operates as a single property rather than a chain of guest houses, with the owners handling check-in personally and staying reachable by phone when away from the desk.
