Hand & Heart occupies a row of sandstone caves carved beneath Derby Road, with brewing on the site recorded from 1866. Restored by owner Dawn Suchoruczk since 2007, the freehouse pours a rotating range of real ales and serves a weekly Sunday roast alongside vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
