Kitchen at Oscar's is a family-owned bakehouse and takeaway on Preston Street in Faversham, baking on the premises since 1998. The shop produces speciality breads and sourdough loaves from Tuesday to Saturday, alongside a full range of homemade cakes including cheesecake, and a rotating stock of savoury pastries, pies and cold-filled rolls. Coffee and specialist teas are served from the same counter. The business has traded from the same Limes Place unit for more than 25 years, supplying regulars from the town and visitors to Faversham's markets nearby. It remains independently run, with no tie to a larger bakery chain or supermarket contract, and continues to bake in small batches rather than from a central production kitchen. Faversham's high street has seen several bakeries open and close in recent years, but Kitchen at Oscar's has continued trading through those changes without altering its basic format.
