Longdog Brewery

Longdog Brewery is an independent, family-run operation based on the Moniton Trading Estate in Basingstoke, producing cask and bottle-conditioned ales using just water, malt, hops and yeast rather than adjuncts or shortcuts. The on-site shop and taproom opens through the week, with tastings and a rotating range of casks and bottles to take away, and the brewery also runs guided tours explaining the brewing process from mash tun to fermenter. Its beers travel out to independent pubs, shops and hotels across a stretch of Hampshire running from Basingstoke and Reading in the north down to Petersfield, and out to Andover and Fleet, though it remains a single production site rather than a group with satellite breweries. Markets and brewery events bring in local producers to trade alongside the beer on selected weekends.
