Rest Bay Cafe Bar sits about 100 metres from the surf break at Rest Bay Beach, Porthcawl, with balcony seating over the coastline. Open daily 9am to 9pm, it serves coffee, hearty breakfasts, sandwiches, paninis and main meals, and publishes daily surf reports. A beachside kiosk handles takeaway coffee, ice creams, crisps and cold drinks, while the Surf Shack burger van cooks burgers and hot dogs to order at weekends and during school holidays.
