Combined MilitaryServices Museum

A militaria collection in Maldon spanning arms and armour from 1800BC to 1800AD, the Donnington Firearms Collection of weapons used and captured by the British Army, uniforms from Victorian times to the Gulf Wars, artillery and munitions, and Home Front artefacts. It also holds what it describes as one of the finest collections of operational spy equipment in the world, Special Forces 'black kit', and the Cachalot canoe from Operation Frankton. Open seven days a week, 10.30am to 4.45pm, from 22 July to 30 August 2026.
