Home Sweet Home occupies a cottage-styled shop on Donaghadee's High Street, combining a coffee counter with racks of Harvest House Christian literature and cards, Pilgrim jewellery and coastal-themed gifts. Every fortnight the shop runs a painting class using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, alongside a pavlova-making session, turning the retail floor into workshop space outside normal trading hours. Food safety inspectors recorded a very good rating for cleanliness at their most recent visit, in March 2026, alongside a good rating for food handling. The shop's mix of small gifts and seaside souvenirs reflects Donaghadee's identity as a working harbour town rather than a resort strip.
