House onCrutches Museum

A single-room-deep Elizabethan timber-framed building on the High Street, named for the way its upper floor overhangs the street on timber props resembling crutches. Run by a local heritage trust, the four small rooms hold collections on rural and domestic life in the area through the 19th and 20th centuries. Entry is free.
