Katherine FortnumCeramics

Katherine Fortnum runs her ceramics studio from a residential street in Market Harborough, teaching handbuilding to groups and individuals alongside sessions on a miniature pottery wheel built for close, one-to-one tuition. Fortnum was a finalist for the Stelios Entrepreneur Award in 2017 and sells her own handmade tableware and sculptural pieces through the studio gallery, Etsy and Folksy. She opens the studio for periodic Open Studio events and craft fairs, showing work alongside other regional makers. Classes run for complete beginners through to those with established clay experience, with private sessions available for those wanting individual attention rather than a group setting.
