Orm's Brewhouse

Orm's Brewhouse is a small five-barrel brewery and distillery set up in 2025 within the grounds of Ormside Hall, a 14th-century farmstead near Appleby. The beers are named Orm's Øl after a Viking whose sword grave lies close by, beside what is recorded as Cumbria's oldest church, and the taproom opens roughly once a month for tastings and bottle sales.
