The Contemporary FineArt Gallery

The Contemporary Fine Art Gallery occupies a shopfront on Peascod Street in Windsor, run by Nicholas and Elizabeth Bayldon Pritchard. The gallery specialises in contemporary Scottish and British painting alongside Zimbabwean Shona stone sculpture, representing artists ranging from Royal Academicians to younger painters working in figurative, narrative, still life and landscape styles. Much of the work on display is for sale directly from the gallery floor, and the Pritchards say many of the artists they represent are willing to take on commissions for buyers. The gallery holds regular changing exhibitions rather than a single fixed hang, and pieces range across oil, sculpture and limited-edition print. It is open seven days a week, from 9am to 5pm, making it one of the few Windsor galleries with daily opening hours rather than a by-appointment arrangement.
