The last working watermill in Orkney, and the only mill anywhere still stone-grinding bere, an ancient six-row barley grown in the islands since Neolithic times. Operated by the Birsay Heritage Trust in a building dating to 1873. Beremeal is sold on site and through the mill's online shop.
