Birsay Bay Tearoom has served locals and visitors since 2013, a short drive from the Earl's Palace at Birsay, Orkney: keep following the road until it runs out. Cakes, traybakes, afternoon tea and speciality coffee, made by hand with local produce. Open 10.30am to 4pm Friday to Monday, last food orders 3.15pm. Tables are booked by phone or email, confirmed only on reply. Birsay Broch, Skara Brae and Skaill House are nearby.
