Foxes Café Lounge occupies 18 Abbey Street in Carlisle's Historic Quarter, a few minutes' walk from the cathedral and Tullie House. It is run by Bruce and Luke, who also roast the coffee served across the counter under their own label, Bruce and Luke's Coffee. The café doubles as a small venue, hosting local live music, film nights and a rotating display of work by local artists on its walls. The weekend menu runs to a full cooked breakfast known on the menu as the Full Fox, alongside bagels, wraps, pancake stacks and milkshakes served in pint bottles. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes are available throughout the week. The café opens Monday to Saturday from 9am to 4pm and Sunday from 9am to 3pm.
