Salley's Restaurant

Salley's began as a bar opened by Desmond and Laura Salley in 1976 on the main road between Dublin and Donegal, a few miles south of the Ballygawley roundabout, with the restaurant added in 1995. It is now run by their daughter, Deborah 'Debbie' Dodds, alongside her husband Stephen Dodds and brother Garnett Salley; Deborah and Stephen are the registered directors of Salleys Restaurant Ltd. The kitchen serves a traditional Irish dining menu built around locally sourced produce, spanning grills, seafood and home-baked desserts. The business operates from this single Aughnacloy premises rather than as a wider group, and has built its reputation over five decades of continuous family ownership. It opens Wednesday to Sunday through the week, closing Mondays and Tuesdays, with slightly later hours on Saturdays for evening dining.
