Sion Stables

Sion Stables occupies the renovated stable block of Sion House in Sion Mills, combining a local history museum, a heritage education centre and a craft and gift shop with a tearoom and restaurant seating about 50 people plus outdoor patio space. It is run by the Sion Mills Buildings Preservation Trust, formed in September 1999 by Celia Ferguson, to conserve and interpret the former Herdmans linen-mill village founded in 1835.
