Surveyed
Bill and Christina Steenson set up as goldsmiths in 1976, and their workshop is now in Glenarm, on the Antrim coast, led by their daughter Brona — a family jewellery business into its second generation of makers. The work is designed and made on site; a glass partition lets visitors watch the bench, and the showroom sells the results. The Steensons are widely known for the jewellery they made for Game of Thrones, filmed along this coast, but the everyday work — wedding rings, commissions, their own collections — is the substance of it. An Économusée workshop where the making is on show, in a conservation village by the sea.
