Tides Fine Art Gallery occupies 45 Uplands Crescent, run by artist Tim Kelly, who opened this second space in December 2024 having originally established the gallery in Mumbles. It represents around 50 artists based in and around Swansea, showing ceramics, drawing, jewellery, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and textiles, with roughly three dozen named contributors on rotation at any time. The gallery is open every day of the week, from 10.30am to 4.30pm, unusually long hours for a small commercial space. Work is priced to allow first-time buyers as well as collectors, and staff can talk through the background of individual artists on request. The Uplands premises gives the gallery a second foothold beyond its original Mumbles base, closer to the city's creative quarter around Mansel Street and Cwmdonkin Park.
