Vale Vinyl Records occupies a shopfront on Broad Street in Pershore, selling second-hand vinyl across genres from classic rock and prog to jazz, soul and classical, alongside 45s, 78s and a run of new stock from the 1990s onward. The shop was set up in early 2024 by Peter, trading initially from Pershore market, before David, a former hospitality manager of thirty years, joined as a partner and later became sole proprietor. Both founders shared a passion for the music of their 1970s childhoods. Customers can try records before buying on an in-store turntable, over a complimentary coffee, and browse branded band T-shirts, turntables and music systems as well as records. An adjoining sister shop sells antiques and collectables. The shop opens Wednesday to Saturday, including bank holiday weekends.
