Wobbly Bob

Wobbly Bob is a small gift shop in the Kirkgate Arcade in Otley, run by three friends who are themselves makers. The shop stocks handmade work from around thirty artisans based across Yorkshire, including ceramics, textiles, cards, jewellery and other small-batch gifts, refreshed regularly as new makers are taken on. It operates from a single unit within the covered arcade just off Otley's Kirkgate, alongside a handful of other independent traders. The shop promotes local makers through in-store displays and social media, encouraging shoppers to buy handmade rather than mass-produced gifts, particularly around Christmas. Trading hours follow the arcade's, typically closing by mid-afternoon. Wobbly Bob has no other branches and is not affiliated with any wider retail chain.
