Acorn Vegetarian Kitchen occupies 2 North Parade Passage, a site chef Richard Buckley took over in 2013 after Rachel Demuth's twenty-six-year run at the same address came to an end. Buckley, previously head chef at Demuth's, runs the kitchen with manager Rob Eldon, serving a plant-based menu built around seasonal vegetables rather than meat substitutes. The restaurant, which converted fully to vegan cooking in 2018, has held a recommendation in the Michelin Guide. Tables sit in a compact dining room within one of the passage's historic buildings, near Bath Abbey. Acorn serves lunch and dinner every day of the week, with dinner service running until 10pm on Saturdays and 9:30pm the rest of the week.
