Bath AquaGlass

Bath Aqua Glass has been making glass in the city since Annette Dolan founded it in 1996 — its signature the pale blue-green 'Aqua' ware, coloured with copper oxide in a nod to the Roman glass found in Bath. It blows glass and makes stained glass, sells it from a shop by the Abbey, and lets visitors watch the glassblowing at the studio for free, which is the best reason to go. It is a genuine working glassmaker in a city full of gift shops, one of the small army of independents that Dolan says the city should value. See the glass made, then buy a piece with the colour of the springs in it.
