Drayman's Son is a micropub on Forehill in Ely, opened in 2013 as the Liberty Belle in a converted shop unit. It was renamed in 2015 by new owners Andy and Jo Pearson in memory of Andy's father, who worked as a drayman for Ely's former Forehill Brewery. Since 2018 it has been owned by Three Blind Mice, a brewery based nearby in Little Downham, and serves as that brewery's tap in the city. The single small room holds four cask ales served straight from the cellar rather than through hand pumps, alongside ten keg lines and a rotating selection of six or more real ciders. Décor runs to railway memorabilia, an old bus stop sign and enamel advertising signs. There is no music or fruit machines, and the pub markets itself as Ely's first micropub, drawing a mix of regulars and cask ale enthusiasts passing through the city.
