Jennings & Son is a family bakery on Southampton Road in Lymington, founded more than fifty years ago when its first baker began making bread at home and selling it door to door. The business passed to his son and is now also worked by a third generation, still baking on the premises each day. The counter carries fresh loaves and rolls alongside sweet and savoury pastries, doughnuts, macaroons, gingerbread and Devon cream rolls, with cakes made to order for celebrations. It has no branches beyond this one shop, and closes Sundays and Mondays, reflecting its scale as a small, owner-run bakery rather than a wholesale operation.
