Lord Hop occupies a former shop on Queens Road in Nuneaton, converted into a two-floor micropub since opening in December 2015. The ground floor keeps to a simple bar and seating layout, while the upper floor has settees, a small library of books and board games for customers who stay longer than a quick pint. Three or more real ales are served straight from cask or handpull, backed by up to eight ciders and perries alongside wine, gin, bottled lager and soft drinks. Food is not cooked on site, but customers are free to bring in their own. The pub has been named Nuneaton and Bedworth's local CAMRA Pub of the Year on several occasions and has also won Cider Pub of the Year. It closes on Mondays and keeps shorter afternoon hours through the working week.
