Maine Nursery

Maine Nursery has traded from 25 Maine Road, around three miles outside Omagh on the Cookstown road, since it was established in March 2000. The nursery grows and sells trees, hedging plants, shrubs and bedding plants, and will fill tubs, window boxes and hanging baskets to order for customers who want them planted up rather than buying stock loose. Alongside plants, it carries a range of garden ornaments and terracotta pots. The site functions as a working plant nursery rather than a general garden centre chain outlet, growing on a proportion of its own stock rather than reselling entirely bought-in plants. It serves customers from Omagh and the wider Sperrins area who are landscaping gardens or replacing hedging, and takes orders for larger hedging runs ahead of the planting season. Maine Nursery does not operate a transactional website, and customers are advised to phone ahead or check its Facebook page for current stock and opening times before travelling out to the Cookstown road site.
