Norwich Arts Centre operates as an independent charity from St Swithin's Church, a medieval building on St Benedict's Street dating from 1349. The organisation formed in 1976 and has occupied the church since 1980, staging live music, theatre and visual art exhibitions and supporting emerging artists across Norwich and the wider county.
