Ollie's Bistro

Ollie's Bistro is a family-run cafe and bistro at 3B Market Place in Carrickfergus, close to the castle and harbour. It is named after the comedian Oliver Hardy and carries a Laurel and Hardy theme through its decor. The kitchen runs an all-day breakfast menu with a deli counter, daily specials, lunches, a children's menu and home-baked desserts, and serves coffee to sit in or take away. It is a single independent site in the centre of the town, on the Causeway Coastal Route, and draws both locals and visitors passing through Carrickfergus. The bistro sits among the shops and eating places around Market Place, a short walk from Carrickfergus Castle and the marina. The name and decor are a playful nod to Oliver Hardy of the Laurel and Hardy duo.
