Cloghfin Cottage

Cloghfin Cottage is a single self-catering holiday cottage on Middle Road in Islandmagee, run by owners Andy and Janice. The building is roughly 300 years old, built in the style of a traditional Irish crofter's cottage, and has been refurbished to keep original stone walls and a period barn door alongside underfloor heating and automatic roof windows. It sleeps two adults in a double room, with a sofa bed available for two young children. The hillside garden looks down over Larne Lough towards the Glens of Antrim and includes a fire pit, hammocks, free-range hens and a bee hive, with guests given a welcome basket of local soda bread and the cottage's own honey. The property is a short drive from the Gobbins cliff path, Whitehead and Brown's Bay, and is let as the owners' only holiday property rather than part of a wider portfolio.
