Gracehill is the only complete Moravian settlement in Ireland, founded by the Moravians in 1759 and designated Northern Ireland's first Conservation Area in 1975. Its awards include the Europa Nostra Award, and it forms part of the Moravian Church Settlements World Heritage listing. Gracehill Old School Trust, a charitable building preservation trust, has worked on the Old School, the Square and 1798 Walk, village signage and the Penfold Postbox.
