Pots of Pleasure has traded from The Square in Ballyclare since 1998, combining a cafe with an adjoining gift shop under owner Mark. The gift side sells cards, homeware and small presents, wrapped on request at the counter, while the cafe serves breakfast, lunch and home baking, including ice cream made in house. The two halves of the business share a single entrance, so customers can browse gifts before or after eating. Mark is known to regular customers for personally checking that meals and gift-wrapping have been done to their satisfaction. The shop has operated under the same family since 1998, making it a long-standing independent business on Ballyclare's main square. Trading hours run into the early evening on weekdays, with a relaxed, unhurried pace to service.
