Geetie Singh-Watson — awarded an MBE in 2009 for services to the organic pub trade — opened her fourth organic pub on Rotherfold Square in December 2019, after a year of eco-driven renovation. The house rules are posted as the Nine No-Bull Rules: organic through and through, from the beer and the kitchen to the linen, and no greenwash. Nine individually designed bedrooms sit upstairs with a four-bedroom apartment alongside; The Times named it best eco hotel of the year in 2020, and the National Restaurant Awards gave it their sustainability award in 2024. Open daily, breakfast through to late.
