The MudHouse

The Mud House runs from a studio on Preston Road, trading as Romud, and offers pottery instruction ranging from two-hour taster sessions to ten-week courses. Members with a developing practice can take out a clay membership and use the wheels and kilns outside class times. The studio also runs hen and stag workshops, kids' school-holiday clubs, and corporate team sessions alongside its regular beginner and intermediate classes. It describes itself as an inclusive space for people who want to make, learn, and develop ceramics skills together, and keeps longer weekday hours than most local studios, staying open until 9pm Monday to Thursday.
