The Olde Ship Inn has stood on Seahouses harbour under the same family's ownership since 1910, in a building that began as a farmhouse in 1745 before turning into a pub in 1812. Three small bars are packed with maritime salvage collected over decades: ship's wheels, oars, fishing baskets and brass lamps hang from the ceilings and walls, and CAMRA lists the pub's interior as regionally important for its unaltered bar counters, panelling and fireplaces. The kitchen serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a pie night on Wednesdays and the catch of the day depending on what has come off the boats. A Wardroom function room upstairs takes private parties of up to fifty, and eleven ensuite bedrooms plus two further properties, Britannia Bungalow and Chapel Row, make the inn one of the harbour's few places to stay the night.
