The ShropshireDistillery

The Shropshire Distillery operates from a unit on Ellesmere Business Park, founded by husband-and-wife team Emma and Gareth Glynn. Every stage happens on site, from recipe development to distilling, blending, bottling and labelling, using two copper pot stills named Jean and Anne and a traditional one-shot distillation method that keeps only the purest heart of each run. The range includes a dry gin, an aromatic spiced gin, a navy strength gin and a spring vodka, alongside liqueurs sold under the After Noon name, one of which is made using surplus bread rather than grain. No artificial sugars, flavourings or synthetic additives go into any bottle. Visitors can book the on-site gin school to blend their own bottle, join a tasting tour, or attend the distillery's monthly bar nights with food vendors.
