Three Sisters is a charter boat working out of Staithes Harbour, running sea-angling, wildlife-watching and sightseeing trips along the North Yorkshire coast between Staithes and the cliffs towards Whitby. The skipper, Martin Hopkinson, spent years as a commercial fisherman and served for more than three decades as an RNLI helmsman, and takes small groups out aboard a 7.9-metre open-deck boat fitted with an on-board toilet and hot-drinks facilities. Angling trips fish over local marks and wrecks, while wildlife trips look for seals, dolphins and porpoises, with a chance of minke and other whales in season. Numbers are kept low, so it stays a personal outing rather than a packed pleasure cruise. It operates as a single independent boat run by its owner from the tidal harbour.
