Croft CornerGuest House

Croft Corner is a bed and breakfast on Knutsford Road in Wilmslow, run by owners Liz and Mike Brown from a house about a mile from the town centre and a mile and a half from Alderley Edge. The guest house has four rooms, three of them en suite, and serves a cooked English breakfast each morning. Guests have off-street parking and free WiFi, and the Browns handle bookings and check-in personally rather than through an agency desk. The house takes business travellers visiting nearby offices as well as leisure guests using it as a base for the Peak District and the Cheshire countryside. Rooms are furnished plainly rather than to a themed design, with a shared lounge available to guests in the evening. Only guide dogs are accepted and the house operates a no-smoking policy throughout. Croft Corner remains independently owned and run as a single guest house rather than part of any hotel group.
