Surveyed
A six-barrel brewery installed in 2010 into the former Irwell, Steam, Tin, Copper and Ironworks — a building whose full Victorian name does half the marketing — brewing nine regular beers plus seasonals, with tours by arrangement and a first-floor tap and balcony where Ramsbottom drinks the output overlooking the street. The town has become the Irwell valley's day-trip capital, heritage railway and all, and the brewery is the sensible place to end the itinerary: beer brewed downstairs, served upstairs, no logistics involved.
