Nantwich Book Shop& Coffee Lounge

Steve and Denise Lawson opened the Nantwich Book Shop in a 16th-century timber-framed building on High Street in November 2003, adding the Coffee Lounge the following year. The family business marked twenty years of trading in 2023 and is still run day to day by the couple alongside their daughters, Samantha and Christine. Shelves cover new fiction, local history and children's titles, with tables for browsing over coffee and cake. In 2014 the shop featured in the BBC series Million Dollar Intern, which followed a young entrepreneur working alongside the Lawsons during a difficult trading period. It remains one of the few independent bookshops left in this part of Cheshire.
