Cheshire CanalBoat Hire

Cheshire Canal Boat Hire has run from Aqueduct Marina at Church Minshull, north of Nantwich, since the family business was set up in June 2019. Two narrowboats, Times Flying and Plane Sailing, are available for holiday hire on the Shropshire Union Canal's Middlewich Branch between March and October, with static winter stays offered outside the main season and pets permitted aboard by request. The company operates from this single marina base only, with no other locations, distinct from the marina operator itself, which separately runs moorings, a boatyard and brokerage alongside the hire fleet. A largely lock-free stretch toward Middlewich makes it a popular first route for newcomers to handling a narrowboat.
