Jennifer Barker, who opened her first glass studio in 1997 and later ran the glass department at Glyndwr University for twelve years, teaches glass fusing, stained glass and copper foiling from a converted barn at Bradley Farm outside Frodsham. Class sizes are kept small enough for individual attention, with all glass, tools and kiln firing included in the price. Courses range from half-day tasters through to jewellery-making and seasonal garden-glass workshops, with breaks built in for tea in the barn's seating area. The studio sits about a mile from Frodsham town centre and draws students from Manchester and Liverpool as well as the surrounding villages.
