Robinson Goldsmiths works from a workshop on Prospect Road in Bangor, where Eric and Rosemary Robinson began making jewellery in the 1980s after training as dental technicians and turning that close handwork to gold. Their daughter Jennifer joined the business in 2002, and it remains a family concern, producing bespoke commissions alongside signature ranges such as the Causeway Collection and the Belfast Brick, both drawing on Northern Irish landmarks. The Company of Goldsmiths Dublin recognised Eric with its Design and Innovation award at the RDS National Crafts competition. The shop also carries pieces by other regional makers, including Jill Graham and Jan Campbell, and opens Tuesday to Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday.
