St Johns House occupies a Georgian townhouse on St John Street in Lichfield, two minutes' walk from Lichfield City railway station. Dan Ralley bought the property in August 2012 and restored it, adding a rear extension known as the Pavilion Room and furnishing the building with a mix of contemporary pieces and antiques. Twelve individually decorated bedrooms are split between the main house, which holds eight rooms, and four more across the courtyard in a converted stable block. Breakfast is included with every stay, served from seven until nine in the morning on weekdays and from eight until ten at weekends. Beyond overnight stays, the house is also booked for exclusive-use events, taking over the whole building for private parties and gatherings.
