Sunnyhills Farm Shop opened in 2010 on South Road at the southern edge of Belford, half a kilometre off the A1, built by the family behind Sunnyhills' 1,000-acre arable and free-range egg farm. The shop sells produce from the farm's own wheat, barley, oilseed rape and vining pea crops alongside eggs from its 56,000 free-range hens, plus a wider deli counter, gifts and ice cream. An attached café and restaurant serves breakfast and lunch, and a children's play area and car park make it a stop for families travelling the A1 as much as a destination for locals stocking up on regional produce. The business has picked up regional food-industry awards over the years for its farm shop and catering. It trades as a single site under the Sunnyhills family company, incorporated in 2016 after running as an unincorporated farm business, and is listed in national farm-shop directories including FarmingUK and BigBarn.
