The PorkShop

The Pork Shop has traded on Church Street in Poulton-le-Fylde since 2001, now run by the second generation of the same family. Behind the counter, butchers prepare meat cut to order while the bakery side turns out pies, pastries and the shop's own Uncle D's sausages, a recipe the family has kept in house rather than sourcing from a wholesaler. A second branch has since opened on Clifton Street in Lytham St Annes, and the business now ships some products nationally through an online shop with next-day delivery on set days each week. The Poulton shop remains the original site and sits among the market town's independent traders near St Chad's Church. Staff work from a simple counter layout, with meat, bakery and deli sections kept close together rather than spread across a larger format store.
