The Prior's Oven occupies a Grade II* listed medieval building on Sheep Market that once served the Priory of Spalding and later a bakery, giving the pub its name. Opened by Nathan Marshall and Charlie Rawlings in December 2013, it was the first micropub in Lincolnshire, pouring a rotating line of real ales, ciders and perries from a small octagonal bar beneath a vaulted ceiling.
