The Stanley Arms is a free house on Wolseley Road in Portslade, trading from a building erected in 1882 and named after the Victorian explorer Henry Morton Stanley. Current owners Ash and Lizzie bought the pub at auction in 2018 and reopened it as an independent, keeping a rotating line-up of real ales, a beer garden and a weekly quiz night.
